INO BAPTIST STUDENT SPECIAL EVENTS

Special Events

On top of our regular weekly stuff going on, our student ministry would not be complete without a multitude of special events that take place throughout the year.  Every special event we plan meets at least one or more of the five purposes of our student ministry.  We plan our special events with purpose of heart and expect great things from God out of that particular event.  Special events causes’ people flow through our student ministry; special events starts relationships; it makes new friends; special events creates great lasting memories for our students not to mention that we as Christians just like to have good, clean, eternal fun in the Lord Jesus Christ. Policies Concerning Special Events

1)    Students who have completed the sixth grade cannot go on youth special event trips or attend Student Power Source service on Wednesday’s until August 1st, right before their 7th grade.

2)    The student and their parents will need to fill out and complete an “Event Participant Form” before going on special event trips. The student and the parents must sign the form.

3)    In ALL cases of student ministry events concerning water activities, ALL females, students and chaperones, must wear a one piece swim suit OR must wear shorts and a

t-shirt to swim in.   Appropriate and modest clothing is our student ministry standard.

4)    For the adult leaders that have been approved by the Student Pastor, they will need to make child care arrangements concerning their children before they go on any trip.  This allows adult leaders to give their undivided attention to our teenagers while on the trip.

5)    For students to be able to go on youth camps/ mission trips during the summer they must have completed the 7th grade, be active in Sunday School, Discipleship Training, and all worship services including Student Power Source on Wednesday’s unless providently hindered.

6)    Students completing their senior year in high school can attend the youth camp/mission trip in the summer following their senior year, but it will be their last time to attend as a student .

*  All the above Student Ministry policies concerning special events are subject to change.
